MARK NEWCOMB, Senior Director Engineering, Product Design and Development for BroadMap, has accumulated over 19 years of experience designing, managing, developing, documenting and supporting relational databases, spatial databases and digital map products at Etak and Tele Atlas. As a database designer and manager, map production expert, GIS Engineer, Sales Engineer, Product Architect and Product Manager, he understands all the details related to complex geographic and non-geographic databases.

Mark was the recognized subject-matter expert on Tele Atlas global map products. He was also the last line for customer support and on the front line communicating product details with Product Managers and technical teams for major partners and customers.

Mark holds a B.A. degree in Geography from the University of California at Santa Barbara in Santa Barbara, CA.
