LINDA BREWER joined BroadMap in April 2010 as a Technical Documentation Writer. In this role Linda is responsible for researching, writing and publishing all technical end-user documentation (such as User Guides and Release Notes); writing and updating FGDC metadata files; line- and copy-editing outward-facing BroadMap documents (such as RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, press releases, leave-behinds and e-mail blasts).

Linda brings five years of GIS experience and 35 years of technical, business and professional communication experience to BroadMap. Most recently she was a Technical Writer at Tele Atlas, where she wrote technical documents sent to end users; edited database specifications, user guides, FGDC metadata, web help files and reference documents; and was the in-house expert for Tele Atlas editing and publishing tools.

Linda holds an M.A. degree in English from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT and is an award-winning professor of English.
