Project Manager

The Project Manager acts as a liaison between client personnel and Technical/Quality Assurance teams helping to transform client requirements into high quality BroadMap solutions. This position is responsible for applying business analysis techniques to elicit, transform and manage client requirements to ensure that BroadMap’s products and services meet or exceed client requirements.

GIS Analyst

This position is responsible for supporting BroadMap’s database, products and services. This includes editing the core database, resolving customer issues on the phone, conducting research, procurement and evaluation of national, State, regional and local spatial data from the public, government and commercial sectors to support BroadMap’s product development initiatives. The GIS Analyst is responsible for using and procuring source data to update and correct BroadMap databases, as well as developing and maintaining BroadMap’s spatial data repository and resource library with accurate accounting of potential and existing source providers, contact information and contact history. Edits may be prompted by updated data inputs, QA results or any other specific requests. The GIS Analyst is in direct contact with source providers and customers, supporting BroadMap’s products and services.

Corporate Paralegal

The position requires the candidate to draft, negotiate and finalize contracts, draft separation agreements, provide feedback and guidance to owner’s team, sales team and operations team regarding employment legalities, website privacy acts, registering with states, GSA schedule information, etc. In depth knowledge of legal terminology and principles as well as basic computer skills are required. The candidate will be asked to analyze legal documents for accuracy, to prioritize and work under a tight schedule. The successful candidate must have the ability to handle information of a sensitive and confidential nature. The candidate will exercise professionalism, tact and diplomacy in communications with visitors, media, partners and BroadMap employees.

Quality Specialist
This position is responsible for applying quality assurance techniques to ensure that BroadMap’s products and services meet or exceed quality requirements. The Quality Specialist is responsible for the development, documentation and implementation of quality procedures and testing plans as they relate to GIS data procurement, software development and commercial release of GIS data products and software applications, including web-based products, services and infrastructure. The Quality Specialist also ensures that quality requirements are clearly articulated and agreed upon by all relevant parties.

Senior Web Applications Engineer
This position is responsible for the design and engineering development of BroadMap’s web-based products and services. The Senior Web Applications Engineer is responsible for the design and development of web-based products, GIS and web-based product tools and GIS ASP services. This position requires a strong understanding of cartographic principles and in-depth knowledge of U.S. geography. The Senior Web Applications Engineer works closely with the other members of the Product Design and Development team along with GIS Mapping and Support and Quality Assurance teams to deliver innovative and quality map solutions.
